Privacy & Security
MeetingBrief is built on the principle that your commercial preparation is confidential. Here is how we protect it.
Data Privacy
- Meeting data is private by default — every brief is scoped to your account and workspace.
- User data is not publicly shared, sold, or made available to third parties.
- We collect only what is necessary to generate and deliver your briefs.
- No advertising trackers or behavioural profiling.
AI & Data Usage
- AI-generated outputs are confidential to your account and never reused for other users.
- Your meeting details and brief content are not used to train or improve external AI models.
- All AI processing happens within our secure infrastructure — data is not sent to public APIs without protection.
- Outputs are generated on-demand and discarded from temporary processing memory once delivered.
Data Storage
- Data is stored securely using enterprise-grade encryption at rest and in transit.
- Infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2-compliant providers with regular security audits.
- Backups are encrypted and access-controlled; retention follows strict lifecycle policies.
- Network traffic is protected with TLS 1.3 and modern cipher suites.
User Controls
- Users control their own meeting briefs — view, edit, export, and delete at any time.
- Users can delete stored data permanently; removal is immediate and irreversible.
- Workspace administrators can manage team access and revoke memberships.
- Account deletion requests are honoured in full within 30 days.
Authentication & Access
- Authentication is secured with industry-standard protocols and encrypted session management.
- Multi-factor authentication and SSO are available for workspace plans.
- Role-based access controls ensure team members see only what they are authorised to see.
- Failed login attempts are monitored and rate-limited to prevent brute-force attacks.
First-Party Analytics
- MeetingBrief uses lightweight, first-party analytics to understand product usage and improve the service.
- We record anonymous page visits, the referring site, and standard UTM campaign parameters — no third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, no cross-site profiling.
- An anonymous visitor identifier is stored in a first-party cookie so we can measure unique visits and conversion rates; it is linked to your account only if you choose to sign up.
- We do not sell analytics data and do not share it with advertising networks. Blocking cookies or scripts does not affect your ability to use the product.
