Terms of Service
Clear, professional terms.
These terms govern your use of MeetingBrief. They are written to be readable and reflect how the platform is actually intended to be used by professional teams.
Last updated: June 2026
The service
- MeetingBrief provides AI-assisted meeting preparation and commercially relevant research sourced from publicly available information.
- Briefs are designed to support — not replace — professional preparation, judgement, and decision-making.
- We continuously improve the platform; specific features, output structure, and limits may evolve over time.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to use the platform for legitimate professional purposes and not in violation of applicable laws.
- Workspace administrators may manage access for users within their organisation.
Publicly sourced information
- Research is drawn from publicly available sources at the time the brief is generated.
- Public information may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate; we do not warrant its accuracy or completeness.
- You are responsible for independently verifying important information before relying on it commercially.
AI-generated content
- Briefs are generated by AI models combining your inputs with public research.
- Output is provided as preparation support — not as legal, financial, tax, investment, or other professional advice.
- You retain ownership of the inputs you provide; you may use generated briefs for your own internal professional preparation.
- We do not use your meeting inputs or generated briefs to train external AI models.
Subscriptions & payments
- Paid plans are billed via our payment processor on a recurring basis until cancelled.
- Plan limits (such as monthly brief allowances) apply as described at the point of purchase.
- You may cancel a subscription at any time; access continues to the end of the current billing period.
- Pricing and plan structure may change with reasonable notice; in-period changes will not be applied retroactively.
Data deletion & account closure
- You can delete individual briefs at any time from within your workspace.
- You can request full account deletion; we will remove your account data in line with our Privacy & Security commitments.
- Some records may be retained briefly for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes where required.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the platform to research individuals or organisations for unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory purposes.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or interfere with the platform's operation.
- We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or that pose a security or trust risk to other users.
Limitation of liability
- The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeetingBrief is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you have paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
